Our Story
Hi, my name is Kassi and my husband is Russ we are the breeder’s behind J-R Farms Goldens. We are hobby breeders as golden retrievers have become a passion and a big part of our everyday lives. We are located in Southern Utah on a small farm. We got our beloved Rosie (red golden retriever) in 2019 when my youngest at the time was just over a year old. We were amazed with her temperament around small children and saw just how gentle these dogs can be. After that we were convinced that these had to be one of the best family dogs. Breeding has always been something i was familiar with growing up we always had some type of babies being born, from rabbits to mice to cats and dogs. We want to share the love with family’s alike and started looking into what it takes to be a great breeder. As we grow and learn we implement everything we can to ensure we have the best health and temperament we can. We got Sky (English Cream Golden Retriever) in 2022 she is just as sweet as Rosie but a bit more on the calmer side. She has added the perfect mix of love into our family. We strive to do our best with future goals and dreams of being service dog trainers.
Learning this breed and how we can improve them is very important to us. We implement everything we can to better their heath and personalities and are learning all the time.
